WELCOME TO LIFE, LATCH, & LENS

Heyy! I'm Bailey. I was born in Memphis, TN and lived there until I was in the fifth grade. I then moved to Olive Branch, MS and have lived in different parts of North MS since. I am married to my wonderful husband, Nick, and we have three beautiful children together. Braylee, Jolee, and Lincoln.
I knew YEARS ago that I wanted to be a nurse and work with babies. I always just thought that I’d work on a labor and delivery floor somewhere. Boy was I wrong! lol. I never knew how many different areas there are just in the maternity field. When I learned about becoming a doula and then potentially a midwife, I knew that’s exactly what I wanted to do. So I started that journey. When I saw how much I was actually helping moms, I knew I was meant to be on this path.
I first became a nurse in 2021. I graduated when I was eight months pregnant with our son! That was a wild ride. Shortly after that, in early 2022, I became a doula while working as a holistic nurse at a clinic. That is where I truly gained all of my knowledge, was MIM. I also gained confidence to be a business owner and pursued starting the business and page you’re on now!
Life, Latch, & Lens was born at the end of 2023. I have poured my heart and soul into it, and will continue to do so every chance I get. Helping women help themselves and empower them truly gives me butterflies. It gives me a sense of validation that I didn’t know it could give me. And if you know me, you know I’m allll about validation and mental health.
So if you’re needing a doula, a lactation consultant, or a photographer, I hope you consider me. Because you won’t just have that, you’ll have a friend too.
